Best of July

Now that August is in full swing and my bambini are back in school I am back to my normal posting schedule, which I might add is only three times a week. I thought about going full time on the blog, then a wonderful thing happened. I got a job! I romanced the thought of going back to work but didn't think I would find anything that would be flexible enough. Well, when a friend told me about this opportunity I couldn't pass it up. It is just what I need and wanted!

Let's take a scroll back through July and see what I was up too during our lazy days of summer...
The most popular post was my living room gallery wall of vintage botanical prints! I just love the look and it was fun learning about each of the prints. One of these genera is used to produce linen. My daughters 'Hello Teen' room is moving right along. We hung some pig art and dressed her new bed in chevron. I love a quick and easy meal that is equally delicious. Ravioli lasagna is a favorite in my household.
We have a teenager in the house, our daughter turned thirteen! A summer favorite of mine besides watermelon and pool time is salad. My strawberry chicken salad always hits the spot, it is so refreshing and the fresh berries are amazing! In honor of back to school I made a list of my favorite lunchbox essentials.

See ya soon!
