Pink & Gray Nursery

Hello Sunshine! A few weekends ago I had the opportunity to snap a few pictures of my co-workers sweet pink and gray nursery. A few days later she welcomed a healthy baby girl into their lives.

Often, we would talk about what she was planning for her nursery from the furniture to the wall color. She knew immediately that she wanted to incorporate baby elephants into the décor. I loved the idea of combining baby elephants with the pink and gray palette.

I had received some really pretty handmade pink glass knobs from D. Lawless Hardware and knew they would be a perfect addition to a little girl’s nursery. I loved how they complimented the details in the nursery.

To bring in a personal touch, her husband wanted to make something by hand for the baby. He headed out to their garage and built a corner shelf to hold all her special trinkets that she will collect. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned out and it’s truly a sweet little room.

There are a few more elements she will be adding like an adorable canvas art piece over the glider and I hope she invites me back for a full reveal but until then here is snippets of the nursery.
Nurseries are great little spaces to add a whimsical touch and get creative with themes and colors. You also don't have to compromise your style just because the space is for a little person. Lately nurseries are becoming more and more sophisticated and grown up. I love them both!

If you have children how did you decorate their nursery? See ya soon!
