Week in review...

For the past week, I have been out of town with my bambini. Since they were out of school for fall break for an entire week, we packed up and headed down the road for an eight hour ride. The sole purpose of this little trip was to design my nephew's room. Back in September I shared with you my inspiration for the room here. The room kind of took a direction of its own due to time and budget constraints. The room is still a work in progress but he loves it already and that is all that matters. I will share the progression of his room later I have to compile photos and edit them. This week was so much fun, I got to spend a ton of time with my family and go to the fair and just enjoy myself.

Well here is a little snippet of my week...

I had to stop to Ikea on the way...you never need an excuse to visit that store! We used a few pieces from there in Jr's room.

I painted with the help of my little brother Ty. How you like my do-rag?

Here's my dad installing the baseboards after we had installed the carpet.

At the fair!
Since we had to separate to ensure maximum fun I enjoyed the company of two little toddlers. They kept me on my toes and I even managed to take a ton of photos. We had so much fun! I had not been to our home town fair in 8 years and I loved it and all that FOOD! You know the candy apples, cotton candy, gyros, and the excellent elephant ear.

If I can get my act together and finish unpacking and settle back into normal life, I will share Jr's mood board and a little laundry room project this week. See ya soon!
