Best of May

June is coming to a close and in a few short days July will be upon us. I have been enjoying my lazy days of summer! Looking back at May I completed a lot of projects I had on my never ending to-do list. If you missed any of these amazing projects, :) here is the monthly round-up of May's not-to-miss post.
I shared three delicious simple syrup recipes. I used mine to make lemonade but the possibilities are needless. If you want to make sometime cute to stir up your drinks, these dipped wooden spoons should do the trick! They are so simple to make and can be customized to any kitchen decor.  I shared my 'made for the shade' planter with some helpful tips on how-to insure a professional looking container garden every time.
At last, the outdoor curtains were hung and I shared our back porch reveal. I wanted to give a unique homemade gift for Mother's Day and this simple gift idea was perfect. Both my mother and sister loved it! I spent the holiday weekend sprucing up our storage house with a fresh coat of paint.

Did you noticed I had a theme going on for the month of May? Two themes to be exact! See ya soon!
