Lets Get Organized : October Review

Last month I started a series called 'Lets Get Organized,' where I would tackle small areas around my home, giving you tips and storage solutions along the way. My goal was to spend at least 15 minutes a day geared toward my organization goal.
One thing, many years have taught me, is that I cannot expect to run through my entire home in a day and have every nook and cranny clean and organized. Sure the surface areas might look great but what bothered me most was what lurked behind all the doors and drawers.

Giving myself a timeline and a few things to tackle in a week has proven to be the best way for me to tackle my home. I have managed to get a few areas in tip top shape and it feels really good. So good that I am extending my Lets Get Organized journey into November. I hope you don’t mind me sharing my spaces, inspiration and tips with you.

Here are the spaces I organized in October, if you missed any just simply click on the pictures below:

I had planned on having a full reveal of the hall closet ready a couple of weeks ago but a few things got in the way. I am halfway finished with the closet. I painted it a fun color and added a removable closet rod. I am hoping to finish the shelves this week to share with you next week.

In November, I plan on organizing my kitchen - just in time for the holidays, getting my recipes in order, and finally starting on the laundry room.

What have you organized lately? Are you ready for the holidays? We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and stuffing! See ya soon!
